Policies

Disclosure:  prices and policies are updated frequently to ensure you have all the knowledge you need as a customer. Cosmetic tattooing is not for everyone and it is important that you read all information. Every single client is required to read and understand all info that is given. Prices are also updated as product costs fluctuate. 

PERMANENT MAKEUP NOT RECOMMENDED FOR :

  • Pregnant (ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS) Nursing: you will need to abstain from feedings for at least 8 hours after procedure.

  • Diabetic Type 1 (if you heal well, consult Doctor must have written consent)  

  • Chemotherapy (consult Doctor must have written consent) 

  • Viral infection and of diseases 

  • Pacemaker or major heart problems 

  • Organ transplant 

  • Skin irritations, dermatitis or psoriasis near the treated area (rash, SUNBURN, acne, etc.)

  • (Lash serum for LINER clients only- liner is not recommended please discontinue for 30 days)

  • No lash extensions for LINER clients. Must be removed two week prior. You may be reapplied when liner is fully healed. 

  • Accutane use the past year (This damages the integrity of the Skin and can slow down the healing or resist all together, resulting in no ink held in the skin. 

  • Antibiotic at the time of procedure. You will be required to switch your booking to when you are not on the medication.

LINER CLIENTS *on blood thinners run a risk of not being able to complete the procedure. Refrain at all from taking in the week prior to procedure along with fish oil. 


DEPOSITS & BOOKING

 We require a $100 non-refundable deposit for each procedure.

Reschedule & Cancelation policy 

  • A deposit request will be sent on the day of booking for your procedure. This will need to be paid with in 24 hours or your booking will be canceled.

  • Deposits can not be transfered to another client. 

  • After booking you are allowed one reschedule with this deposit. Must be done before the 24 hour mark of your appointment. After that time frame your deposit will be voided. 

  • No show appointments for new clients- your deposit will be voided.

  • Cancelations within 24 hours of the appointment will be required to pay half of their missed procedure to rebook with us. This is for new clients and retouches.

  • Retouch clients: At this time we do not take deposits for your booking.

IF YOU HAVE HAD PERMANENT MAKEUP IN THE PAST NOT DONE BY JULIE YOU MUST SUBMIT A PHOTO FOR APPROVAL PRIOR TO BOOKING

RETOUCHING ANOTHER ARTISTS WORK

ALL new clients are considered new canvases for me so it would be the full process including new procedure pricing and touch up cost. There is a chance I may recommend removal or possibly another artist that will be able to better assist you. Also I will make sure to review your expectations on what you are wanting before I will agree to go over another artists work. 


GOING ON VACATION? 

Make sure you are scheduling around any vacation where there would be heavy sweating or salt in the air from the ocean. It would be best to wait at least two weeks before for proper healing. 


WEEK OF APPOINTMENT REMINDER

*IF YOU ARE ON ANTIBIOTICS YOU MUST RESCHEDULE. 

  • Please drink lots of water and no alcohol the night before. Stay hydrated

  • Please refrain from drinking caffeine the day of your procedure. (This Increases discomfort for you!!! Also may cause you to bleed!)

  • Do not workout the day of procedure. No sweating or swimming for at least 7 days post procedure. 

Taking a beach trip in the next 7 days? Absolutely reschedule! The salt in the air and water will cause your pigment to not heal in the skin. 

IMPORTANT- No aspirin, niacin, vitamin E, fish or oil or Ibuprofen 24 hours before procedure. This can increase your chances of bleeding especially for clients coming in for the eye liner procedure. 

EYE LINER CLIENTS: All clients must have false lashes taken off at least two weeks prior to eyeliner application. Also no makeup should be worn to your appointment. 

  • no alcohol or caffeine prior to procedure

  • no waxing or tinting three days before the procedure.

Please note that you will be more sensitive during your cycle.

  • no electrolysis five days before procedure. πŸ–‹

  • eyelash or brow tinting or eyelash curling should be done no sooner than 72 hours before or two weeks after the procedure. 

  • do not wear contact lenses during or immediately following the eyeliner procedure remember to bring your glasses you may resume wearing your contact lenses as soon as your eyes return to their pre-tattooed condition. 

IF YOU ARE SUNBURNED OR HAVE BEEN TANNING PLEASE SCHEDULE ACCORDINGLY. Even if your skin is pink your skin is damaged and can hinder the ability for your skin to heal. I WILL RESCHEDULE YOU IF I FEEL YOU ARE TOO TAN or Sunburned!!!!!!

Absolutely no sun exposure for 2 weeks after the procedure. This can change the color of the brows and cause poor retention. 

If you are more than 15 minutes late we will not have the option to numb or may be asked to reschedule. 

Brow clients: Makeup can be worn to the procedure if you desire a specific look. Also makeup can be worn after procedure on the face however wait at least two weeks to apply any other makeup on the treated area. 


PAYMENT OPTIONS πŸ’ΈπŸ’Έ:

Cash or check is best if possible! If you are paying with a credit card you must download the VENMO APP to pay with Card. Do this several days before if you don't have the app. You must link your account to it the app. 

NEW CLIENTS ONLY: Please let me know if you have any questions about your procedure. Also if you have not paid your deposit, it MUST be paid immediately ensure you have your spot secured. If you think you would like to get a retouch it is strongly encouraged to go ahead and book the appointment now if you did not prebook with your initial procedure. Julie books out months in advance. The soonest you can return to the skin is 8 weeks. This does not mean there will be any appointments at that 8 week mark. 

  • You are more than welcome to bring a friend or family member however only ONE person is permitted in the treatment room while we are working. Also please do not bring children in to the treatment room. For sanitary and focus purpose. Thank you for your understanding.
