All ABOUT THE TOUCH-UP

When should I come in for my first touch up and why?

The touch up is really our detailing appointment. When you come in initially I am getting to know your skin. I will always choose something that is going to be compatible for your skin type and a color that is conservative. I like to think of your appointments as a BUILD A BROW WORKSHOP : ) Too much of a good thing can be a not so good thing. Easy does it and working in the skin to introduce small amounts of ink is always recommended for best results.

IMPORTANT: Very rarely is a 3rd touch up needed but in some cases you may want to return for a second retouch. Especially if you have changed your procedure to a powdered brow or a combination brow at retouch time.

Touch ups for PMU are suggested at 8 WEEKS to lock in the pigments. This does not mean you are getting in at 8 weeks. If you are wanting your appointment to coincide with your initial procedure, book the appointments at the same time.

HOW OFTEN DO I NEED TO COME GET A RETOUCH?

The Skin is the largest Organ on the body and we are all designed differently. With that being said we all metabolize the pigment differently. Clients with Oily skin are going to find the pigment looking more soft and Powderly. Where as the dryer skin clients will appear more crisp and vivid.  It is suggested to get your retouch at the 8 week Mark after your initial procedure. Thereafter you can wait 6 months to a year. Whatever fits you. The ink is designed to softly leave the skin as time passes.
